"To train and equip servants of God for effective and fruitful ministry, fulfilling the Great Commission of our Lord Jesus Christ"

Calvary Chapel Bible College Dumaguete exists to train and develop men and women of all ages, backgrounds and nationalities into Christlike disciples and servant - leaders who know God through His Word and are equipped by His Spirit to serve Him in every area of life, for the glory of God.

History of CCBCD

Calvary Chapel Bible College of Dumaguete, initially incorporated as Calvary Chapel Training Center, was first envisioned by the late Pastor John Michaels (Calvary Chapel Spring Valley – Las Vegas) in the early 90s to continue training up pastors and church workers in the inductive study and teaching of the Word of God started by Intensive Care Ministries of Asia, founded by Pastor Dan Finfrock.

In 1995, Calvary Chapel Bible College Dumaguete, Philippines was founded with the larger vision of training students to help with existing Calvary Chapels and to plant new Calvary Chapels. Under the leadership of the founding director, Pastor Trip Kimball, this vision began to be faithfully implemented through the training of a multitude of pastors, missionaries, and church workers. In the nearly three decades of CCBCD’s existence, and with many various directors, we have seen many new churches and ministry works started through the ministry of CCBCD, in the Philippines and around the world.

We seek to continue this vision and mission of training up men and women for the work of the ministry, through Inductive Bible Study and practical ministry training, in the Philippines, Asia, and around the world.

"All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work."
2 Timothy 3:16-17
